Share Six – Double Exposure – October 2017

Confession…I was really dreading this month.  I don’t have a camera that takes double exposures.  I have been saving in order to upgrade and think it may actually happen by Spring!!  Yay!  I am so excited to play with composing and capturing them in camera!!  So, this month for the theme I had to create all the double exposure images in Photoshop.  This wasn’t a super daunting task as I absolutely love creating in Photoshop.  The real dilemma was, what images was I going to use?  I wanted some sort of theme between all the images I shared.  One of my absolute favorite types of images to take is Silhouettes.  I also have a TON of flower images.  So I decided to combine the two to create the images for this month.

One our favorite times of the year is the Fall.  We are serious Pumpkin patch goers.  My kids look forward to everything Fall including one of their favorite holidays – Halloween. This last image is from last Halloween when my daughter was a witch combined with one of my freelensed spider web images.  From us to you – Happy Halloween!!

I have joined a group of photographers, Share Six, who will be blogging 6 images each month. Each month is a different theme.  Please click HERE to see Aubrey Dettmer of Applewood Photography’s interpretation of this months theme.

Join us for this month’s theme by posting your Double Exposure images on our Facebook page at Share Six and to our Instagram gallery,  by tagging #sharesix and #sharesix_doubleexposure.  A new theme will come out on November 6th.
